Dr Huang is ably supported by a team of friendly, skilled and experienced nurses and allied healthcare personnel in ensuring that you are well taken care of in your visit with us.

Most of our surgical procedures are performed as day surgery procedures at L20 Day Surgery Centre which is conveniently located across the corridor on the same floor as our clinic.

Can treatment be targeted to specific areas of the body?

Yes, we have treatments that cater to specific parts of your body, addressing one’s problem areas to help achieve the ideal figure.

How many treatment sessions are required to achieve results?

Treatment plans are worked out based on your needs and ideal weight. We have general three plans in which customers can pick from. However, do note that as every body is shaped differently, results may vary from person to person.

Is exercising and watching what is eaten needed when undergoing the SHOU program?

Extreme exercise and dieting are not required. However, for the program to be ideally effective, practicing discipline to a certain degree is advisable. One is advised to go easy on high calorie and high fat food, and to follow a sensible eating plan.

What is the rebound rate after completion of the program?

After completion of the program, it is very unlikely that your weight will rebound. Nonetheless, we would encourage one to practice healthy eating habits as well as to eat in moderation. We also have a maintenance program that one could sign up for. The once-a-month session will help to ensure that the body’s metabolism and circulation is working at an optimal level to prolong the effects of the treatment.

Is treatment uncomfortable/painful?

All of the slimming treatments at SHOU are gentle, safe and non-invasive. Varying from person to person as well as the type of treatment, there should be minimal to no discomfort.

About The Aesthetics Centre

Dr. Anita Soosay

Dr. Anita Soosay has more than 10 years of experience in private practice as an Aesthetics Medicine practitioner in Singapore. She is one of the certified users of Thermage and VASER Liposelection when they were first introduced in Singapore, and was trained under the tutelage of Prof. Alberto Di Giuseppe in Bologna, Italy. She is a certified LASER physician since 2007 and with experience in operating a number of ablative and non-ablative lasers such as the CO2 laser, Q-switched Nd-YAG, long-pulsed Nd-YAG, Diode and Copper Bromide laser.  She also uses Intense Pulsed Light, Radio frequency and Infrared technologies in her array of non-invasive medical aesthetics treatments.

Dr. Soosay has a special interest in laser hair removal for tanned skin patients as it is a skin type that is difficult to treat safely and effectively if not done with the correct type of laser or with the optimum settings. She is a firm believer in preventative medicine and hence advocates cosmetic laser treatments for collagen stimulation and skin brightening to fend off the effects of ageing. She is also a skilled injector of Purified Protein and dermal fillers. Her signature look for her patients is one that is revitalised and youthful without losing your natural appearance. Her accomplishments have led her to be invited to give numerous lectures to share her professional experience within her field of medicine. She also trains and advises fellow doctors in Southeast Asia, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Having come from a family with an established background in medicine, her love for it blossomed from an early age. She spent 15 years studying and working in the United Kingdom and Ireland. She holds an Honours degree in Immunology from University College London, and read medicine in Dublin where she graduated with Honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). Dr. Soosay is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology.

Dr. Soosay is passionate about providing innovative and up-to-date medical aesthetics treatments that are safe and have scientifically proven results, with patient satisfaction being her top most priority.

About Periodontics Inc Pte Ltd

The Doctor

Dr. Henry WONG Meng Yeong obtained his bachelor of dental surgery degree from the University of Singapore, post-graduate masters degree in periodontics from the University of London and has been admitted to the roll of specialists of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He has lectured locally at National University of Singapore and internationally at Harvard and University of California. Dr. Henry Wong has also lectured in Sydney where he holds an honours degree in Master of Health Science from the University of Sydney.

Dr. Henry Wong Meng Yeong is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and also speaks Bahasa Indonesia.

Dr. Henry Meng Yeong WONG received his training in art in watercolours and oils in the USA. His paintings and commissioned works are found in private collections internationally.

Dr. Loh offers a wide range of services for adults and children alike, using several up-to-date techniques and backed by about 30 years of experience in the speciality. The wide spectrum of his practice is the outcome of his advanced training in UK, America and Australia, and his local experience in National University, Singapore General and Tan Tock Seng Hospitals. He served as Associate Professor and Senior consultant and taught at the University before devoting to private practice at Mt. Elizabeth and Gleneagles Hospitals.

About Singapore Sports and Orthopaedic Clinic Pte Ltd

Dr. Kevin Yip obtained his medical degree from St. Thomas' Hospital London, England. He completed his post-graduate training in London, obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1990, and worked in serveral hospital units in England before moving to Hong Kong. He became an Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong Prince of Wales Hospital and participated in extensive research in various fields especially the knee and shoulder.

After leaving Hong Kong in 1998, he joined Gleneagles Hospital as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. Apart from general orthopaedics, his main areas of interest are knee and shoulder surgery.
